The action of the Supreme Court demonstrates its respect for judicial guarantees and shows that the author's rights were not infringed, especially since, contrary to the court's finding, the author was informed by the Attorney-General's Office that the investigation into him covered the alleged offence of embezzlement, as is clear from the record of the preliminary hearing held by Court No. 3 on 9 February 2007.
