Хотя в ходе проведения инспекционных проверок инспекторы не предпринимали попыток вникать в содержание требований забастовщиков, а оценивали лишь то, носят ли эти требования экономический характер (т.е. касались ли они осуществления прав и свобод в сфере труда и социальных условий трудящихся) или какой-либо иной, прежде всего политический, характер, анализ этих случаев позволяет сделать косвенный вывод о том, что количество требований, носивших исключительно политический характер, было крайне незначительным.
Although, in carrying out inspections, the inspectors did not attempt to fathom the content of the strikers' requests, but instead assessed only whether the requests were of an economic nature (i.e. whether they concerned the exercise of the rights and interests on the basis of work and the social condition of the employed) or of some other, primarily of a political nature, it is possible to conclude from the cases, indirectly, that the number of requests of an exclusively political nature was negligible.
